56 When Desire Becomes Recognizable

Beneath the surface of human doing … is the essence of our being.

When clarity of action was absent, I noticed the familiar impulse to make something happen—to interpret stillness as stagnation.

Yet curiosity led me deeper.

Beneath the doing, I encountered something more personal and intimate: desire.

Desire for continued growth.

Desire to know more of myself.

I’m grateful I paused long enough to recognize what wanted to emerge — without needing to solve it or know where it might lead.

And now my curiosity is piqued …

What other emotions are waiting to be discovered when I slow down long enough to ask?

May recognition become an invitation into deeper intimacy.
